Do we take the time to worship each morning before going out the door to
work, or to do the chore of the day planned the night before? Where is God in
our daily thoughts and do we continually bless Him through the day, He created
for us to have? In this day and age when everything seems to moving faster than
we can keep us we really need to be seeking God before we do anything else.
The Bible tells us to worship God and to keep His commandments, this is not just the ones in the Bible, but the ones He speaks unto us daily, we are to wait upon God to walk in His Spirit and allow Him to guide us in all things. Too many things can distract us from walking in his Holy Spirit if we do not seek to put Him first in our lives. Why is it when someone else tells us some thing about their thoughts and feelings, we have a discussion on how they have been wronged, or how they are worried, or afraid, yet when God wants to talk with us, we do not have the time to listen to His voice ,which can teach us how to become apart of His Will, giving us the desire to walk closer to Him than ever before. The Bible teaches us to draw near unto to God and He will draw near unto us, yet we seem not to even have time to worship Him before we can start our day. Come to sit in His Presence and see a difference start to take place, when you allow God to teach you about His desire and heart for you. Allow Him to tell you about His wisdom, which can teach us truth about His Word with deeper insight giving more meaning to us, than any man or woman can teach us.
Taking time to worship God each morning will awaken our senses to understand
more about how to live life, than science can ever explain to us about how life works.
Beauty is found in the touch of God’s presence around us, it is the full knowledge we are his and are kept by his power to save us from all evil through sins of this world. To worship God brings deep healing to our hearts, our minds and our souls, because He becomes our healer, our strength, our most intimate desire of our hearts. Touch God with prayer and walk with Him in Spirit, taste of His sweet Word, which fills us with deepening joy for it is in Him, we find all we need is right there in Him to be given to us. The power of worship comes through desire of wanting God to fill us with His glory, his love, his wisdom, His anointing which will break off all bondage’s of this world, evil of the enemy’s deception and lies.
Let us go into the word of God to see how worship takes us into a deeper relationship with Him.
What is worship first of all? Worship, is the act of honor, praise, and reverence of deity. Thompson Exhaustive Topical Bible.
1 Chronicles 16:29 Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come before him: worship the LORD in beauty of holiness.
Psalm 29:2 Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.
Psalm 95:6 O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker.
Psalm 96:9 O worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth.
Revelation 15:4 Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.
So if we come to worship the LORD with our deepest desire in our hearts, we can feel him touch us in the deepest parts of our spirit, heart, mind, soul, where we learn to fear him in holiness of His presence within us, we can be taught to lean upon him in every trial or storm of life, for His Word is faithful to keep us, and His power will deliver us from the world of darkness.
Today and everyday worship the LORD for it is not just on Sabbath days we find we can draw near unto God, but every day when we allow Him to become LORD of our heart. God bless each of you with His sweet joy, peace, His overflowing water of wisdom to cover you in his beauty, as we come to worship God in our lives, hearts, and our being, as we desire to draw ever closer to Him.
